Trivia:
This is Depardieu's first picture with Sergio Rubini, who is brilliant here. He looks so young, I thought it must have been his first film role, but in fact, Rubini had been doing films for ten years before this one. He has since become a Depardieu sidekick, appearing in Count of Monte Cristo and Les Mis.
Status:
Available on VHS in the US but the price is around $100 bucks. You might as well rent it until the price goes down. Not available on video in the UK that I could find.
